Home of the "surpriZe pecan"
Underwood Pecan Farm is owned by Gary Underwood, a native and life-long resident of Baldwin County, Alabama. Gary and his father, Vaughn Underwood, began selling pecans directly from their farm to the public in the mid 1980s. The small pecan farm grew into seasonal sales during the pecan harvest season at the "Pecan Barn" located behind Gary's childhood home on Highway 98 in Foley, Alabama.
In an attempt to survive as a small, family owned farm, a decision was made in 2018 to move the “Pecan Barn” to Summerdale, Alabama. Gary now farms pecans in orchards located in both Summerdale and Foley areas in beautiful Baldwin County.
Today, Gary and his wife, Billie Jo, along with help from family, friends and seasonal employees have opened the new location and are excited to begin offering a broader selection of pecans and pecan products. We appreciate you visiting our page and hope to see you soon!
